FAMILIES ARE CERTAINLY WELCOME at a Moray pub after the highly successful launch of a ‘soft play area’ for children that makes a summer visit very much a family outing.

The Linkwood Lodge Brewers Fayre in Elgin recently held a grand launch for their new play area – and invited a couple of special guests along to keep the kids happy before and after their meal.

In a Beano-themed opening, local families were welcomed by Dennis the Menace and Gnasher – guests that made the parents look a lot more nervous than their children!

Ross Stevenson, general manager of Linkwood Lodge Brewers Fayre, said: “We’re incredibly pleased to have launched our new ‘Mini Play At Brewers Fayre’ area, which children can enjoy for free while out for a family meal.

“We are looking forward to welcoming more families through our doors to enjoy the new facilities which are also perfect for children’s parties.”
