POLICE IN MORAY have recovered Cocaine worth an estimated £25,000 following a raid on an Elgin home on Friday.

Acting on information received, officer from the Elgin CID executed a warrant in the Hossack Drive area and as a result a 31-year-old local woman has been charged in relation to being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

She is anticipated to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.

Chief Inspector Stewart Mackie said: “We are continuing the proactive work to make Moray a hostile environment for those involved in the illegal supply of drugs. A number of persons have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal this year.

“I would like to thank the community for their continued support and assistance when it comes to tackling the supply of illegal drugs.

“We will continue to take enforcement action and disrupt the activity of those bringing unwanted drugs into our communities.
