SEVERAL REPORTS OF elderly people allegedly being the subject of targeted dishonesty has led to a 37-year-old woman being charged.
Police Scotland say that the woman is facing charges in connection with nine thefts in the Forres area – the alleged dishonesty incidents happened over a six-year period since 2010.
Detective Inspector Norman Stevenson thanked the public for their assistance, saying: “Thank you to all who have assisted with these inquiries.
“Any members of the public with concerns about dishonest behaviour in their communities should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would like to remain anonymous.
“Police Scotland is committed to detecting those who target vulnerable people and we also work extensively with our partners to help those affected.”
