INFORMATION IS BEING sought on the whereabouts of a woman who has been reported missing from her home in Elgin.

Police say they have concerns for the wellbeing of Carol Anne Burns, 27, who they believe may be in the Elgin area – but also has contacts in Inverness and Ross-shire, so their enquiries are currently being conducted throughout the Highlands.

Carol Anne is described as 5’6”, of slim build, with dyed short red hair. She is believed to be wearing a black sleeveless top with a white long sleeve top underneath, pink skinny jeans or leggings, white trainers and also in possession of a white hooded top.

Anyone who believes they have information on the whereabouts of Carol Anne are being asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.

UPDATE: Pleased to say police have confirmed that the appeal worked and Carol Anne has been in contact to say she is safe and well.
