A FREE WORKSHOP aimed at providing businesses involved in the tourism industry the ability to attract greater international exposure has been extended.

All places at the initial two-day workshop at the Horizon Centre at Enterprise Park, Forres were quickly snapped up for November 29 and 30 – but now an additional two-day workshop has been set for December 8 and 9 for which bookings are now being taken.

The workshops have been organised by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, for whom a spokeswoman said: “This fully-funded two-day workshop is aimed at tourism businesses in the Highlands & Islands in the early stages of developing or growing their international tourism markets.

“The workshop will help companies to attract more international visitors – and understand why international visitors can be good for their business.”

Over the two days those taking part can expect to cover a lot of ground, tackling issues such as market analysis, routes to market and individual action plans.

Places to the workshop are restricted and must be booked in advance – further details and a booking form can be found on the Highlands and Islands Enterprise website.
