THE WORK OF talented young students from all eight secondary schools in Moray is to go on show at the Gallery in Elgin Library from Saturday.
Contributions to the exhibition, which will run until Thursday, November 17, have been made by pupils from all year groups and will be displayed as a collective.
Sarah Matthews, who is the Principal Teacher of Art & Design at Buckie High School, explained: “The aim is to visually represent the creative journey of our young people and celebrate the successes and achievements experienced across Moray.
“It raises the profile of the subjects being studied and engages with the local communities in a creative way.
“The exhibition will feature works of varying scales and medias, themes and ideas. Some work will evidence progress of students learning and some will showcase excellence of attainment.
“Students whose work is exhibited have been invited to the opening event on Saturday to see their work in a proper gallery, which is very much a real-life experience for them all.”
