ELGIN CITY FOOTBALL CLUB will be playing host this month to an event that it is hoped will raise much needed funding for one of Moray’s leading charities.
The local branch of North East Sensory Services is holding a quiz night at the club’s ground on Boroughbriggs Road, with bookings being taken now for teams of five.
A spokesman told insideMoray: “NESS Moray is indebted to the reaction we have had from the general public in our efforts to support people who have sensory impairment throughout the region.
“We continue to provide a wide range of services from our resource centre in Elgin as well as social activities and assistance. As a local independent charity we depend on the fundraising efforts of our supporters and, of course, every penny raised will be used for that purpose in Moray.”
