Two youths to appear in connection with Elgin vandalism

Pair to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.

POLICE HAVE CONFIRMED that two 16-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with vandalism on an Elgin building site.

The pair are expected to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today after damage had been reported on the site at Hamilton Gardens yesterday.

Damage on the site is being reported at an estimated five-figure sum.

Both will also appear in connection with an alleged housebreaking at Elgin Academy on December 9.
