NAVIGATING THE STRESSFUL job of moving home has never been easy – but help could be to hand with several local businesses coming together to offer advice.
In the first event of its kind organised by Embrace Elgin (Elgin BID) a new ‘Home Show’ is being launched in February.
The show, taking place on February 15 at the Mansion House Hotel & Country Club in Elgin from 5pm until 8pm, will bring together a wide range of local experts who can help demystify and guide people through the process of buying and selling.
Elgin BID manager Gill Neil explained: “We wanted to give the public easy access to our business professionals all in one easy and convenient location.
“There is a wealth of knowledge and information available for people but this is the first time that we have decided to bring it together in one place. People can find out about properties, mortgages, the legalities attached to buying a house, even where they can go to furnish it.
“With representatives from Banks, Solicitors, Estate Agents, Financial Advisors and furniture shops, we are delighted that so many of the businesses have decided to get involved and are sure it will be a great success.”
Participating businesses will include solicitors, banks, estate agents and home furnishers.
