Police release images in search for three men

A SERIOUS ASSAULT that took place in Elgin last year has prompted police to issue CCTV images of three men they wish to speak to in connection with their enquiries.

Police Scotland say the assault happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday, November 19 last year on Elgin High Street.

Detective Constable Scott Mackay, who is leading the enquiry, said: “This incident resulted in the victim sustaining serious facial injuries. Identification is required for the three men depicted in the images who may be able to assist with enquiries.

“I would appeal to anyone who recognises the men pictured, or has any knowledge of this incident, to come forward and contact Police.”
