SPEYSIDE AREA FORUM is to provide an opportunity for local council voters to meet all four prospective candidates for the two available ward places.
The ‘Meet the Candidates’ event is to be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Auditorium in Speyside High School on Mary Avenue in Aberlour.
The format for the meeting, which will take place from 7pm until 9pm, will be a brief introduction of each candidate followed by a question and answer session.
Sandy Henderson, the chair of the Area Forum, told insideMoray: “The Speyside Glenlivet ward is the only ward which does not have a Councillor seeking re-election – so this event will provide an opportunity for residents to find out more about the new candidates who are standing for election.
“It will also enable voters to question them about issues affecting the local communities which fall within the ward.”
