MORAY RESIDENTS CONCERNED about men’s health issues are being offered an opportunity to discuss them at an information session next week.
At the start of Men’s Health Week which runs from Monday, June 12, the Moray Resource Centre is hosting the information session that day from 11am until 12.30pm.
The week is an international recognition of men’s health issues, seeking to heighten awareness of preventable health problems face by men of all ages. During the week it is the aim to highlight support services available, advice on lifestyle choices and to encourage early detection and treatment of health difficulties in males.
A spokesman for the Moray Resource Centre told insideMoray: “There will be talks giving an overview of various issues and questions are welcome and valued. There will be an information stand regarding Men’s Health in our main area.
“Refreshments in the form of tea and coffee will be provided. This session is open to everyone, so why not come along to find out more about services and support in Moray.”
