Two escape serious injury as Shogun overturns off A95

Two men were taken to Dr Gray’s by ambulance.

TWO PEOPLE HAVE become the latest victims of Moray roads when they were involved in an accident on the A95 close to Aberlour on Sunday.

They were travelling in a four-wheel Mitsubishi Shogun when it left the road and overturned shortly after 2pm.

Debris was left spread over the roadway at Marypark while the vehicle was severely damaged. Two men had been travelling in the vehicle – both were taken to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin, thankfully they are reported as having suffered only minor injuries.

The car has spun on the road before rolling and finally coming to rest back on its wheels – reports indicate that the Shogun was forced off the road as it tried to avoid overtaking vehicles coming in the other direction.

Police say that a motorcycle was also involved in the accident. A police spokeswoman said: “We got a call at 2.25pm – a car and a motorbike were involved, there were no serious injuries. Two men were taken to hospital with cuts and bruises.”
