Moray called to Roll Up for the Amazing, Stupendous Edgar Road

VISUAL DELIGHTS AND MAGIC is being promised in what is gearing up to be one of the most unusual events held in Moray for some time.

Local band Edgar Road are behind an ‘Extravaganza’ at the Elgin Town Hall on October 7 – where they top a bill that includes the EA Orchestra.

Promised is a night of “visual delights and magic” themed around the days of the silent movies, with Edgar Road promising to unveil four new songs that have never been performed and will form the content of their next official release.

Sponsored by local firms Keith Brewery and El-Gin, the evening will feature some of their top-class produce on a night of “music, trickery and laughter!”

Edgar Road have also featured many times on local radio with Keith FM’s ‘Musical Box’ – and to celebrate an exciting evening they are offering listeners an opportunity to win tickets for the show in Elgin and one of the band’s CD’s.

To win, listeners are challenged to tell the station which member of the band did not meet the others at school in Edgar Road – answers should be emailed to onair@kcr.fm or by a message to KCR on their Facebook Page. Entrants can also telephone 01542 886080 and leave their details – and, of course, the correct answer! The competition will close on Saturday (September 2).

If you don’t win then remaining tickets can still be purchased at £12.50 from Biking Direct, Sound & Vision, Shoezone and Thornton’s Elgin.
