BOYS BRIGADE REPRESENTATIVES from throughout the North of Scotland will be descending on Moray later this month.
Lossiemouth is to host the North Scotland Boys’ Brigade Conference from September 29 until October 1 in the Stotfield Hotel.
Officers will be joining the Moray Battalion from the Banffshire, Buchan, Aberdeen, Highland and Orkney, led by the new director of the Boys’ Brigade in Scotland, John Sharp.
Over the three days delegates will discuss a variety of issues and will also enjoy a visit to RAF Lossiemouth. On the Saturday evening they will be treated to a civic reception from Moray Council, with the after-dinner speech delivered by local MP Douglas Ross.
A church parade will be held on the Sunday with delegates marching from Marine Park at 1.40pm, continuing through Stotfield Road, Queen Street, King Street and finally gathering at Lossiemouth Baptist Church on St James Square.
The 1st Buckie Bugle Band will lead the parade with 4th Elgin providing the colour party, following by sections representing Moray unit from Elgin, Lossiemouth, Forres, Rothes and Burghead.
