THE TRANSFORMATION OF a Moray landmark for 12 mesmerising nights of sound and light is set to return for a second year.
Colours of Cluny was staged for the first time last year – to rave reviews from almost all who attended what is now an annual event on Cluny Hill in Forres.
Devised by the same team who created the sell-out Enchanted Forrest, organisers are expecting ticket demand to again be extremely high for the show this year that promises to capture the imagination for all ages.
Being Colours of Cluny is the Forres Focus Community Trust the state-of-the-art event, which runs from November 8-19, is renowned for its use of dazzling visuals and interactive attractions.
Local businessman and Forres Features Chairman Graeme Murdoch said:“We were impressed by the turnout at our inaugural Colours of Cluny event last year which attracted over 12,000 visitors, and we’re already getting a huge amount of interest in our 2017 show.
“That’s why we’re encouraging the public not to delay and book now to avoid disappointment and ensure you get your preferred date and timeslot.”
This year’s show will fire the imagination (quite literally!) with fire pits, flame shooters and some truly mesmerizing UV special effects. It was a huge hit at last year’s Colours of Cluny – and organisers are delighted to announce that visitors will again be able to toast their marshmallows at the new-look fire pit.
Colours of Cluny is funded by Highland and Islands Enterprise (HIE), EventScotland (part of VisitScotland’s Events Directorate), The Budge Foundation and Berry Burn Community Fund.
It takes place from Wednesday, November 8 to Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Cluny Hill in Forres. Tickets and more information available at www.coloursofcluny.com.
