ONE OF MORAY’S Fastest growing charities providing and promoting outdoor education has received their highest accolade yet in their seven-years of service to the community.
EarthTime For All provide a raft of outdoor activities that has proven popular with local children and their parents alike, including outdoor schools and nurseries and regular children’s activities using, wherever possible, the natural environment.
Now the work of the charity has been recognised by the Forest School Association by being awarded their ‘Recognised Forest School’ provider status.
A spokeswoman for EarthTime said: “This is a huge accolade that rewards the hard work of our whole team providing Forest School programmes to schools, nurseries, community groups and charities.
“It is also a tribute to our activities with pre-school children every day at our outdoor nursery and the dedication our team provides in quality outdoor learning. Forest School Training is a large undertaking, requiring practical and theoretical assessments, a portfolio and then constant reflection and development.”
EarthTime are the only organisation in Moray to be awarded the accolade – and the first in Scotland.
