A MORAY PRIMARY SCHOOL is seeking to raise funding for their own outdoor classroom – and hope that they can spread a little Christmas Cheer into the bargain.
Bishopmill Primary School in Elgin are holding a Christmas Fayre on Friday, December 1 from 6pm until 8pm hosting by the school Parent Teacher Fellowship.
A spokeswoman for the PTF said: “The first ever Great Bishopmill Bake Off will be taking place! We are holding a competition to find the best home baked mince pies.
“Entries to comprise 12 x individual mince pies which should be delivered to the school before 5pm on 1st December. Entry fee £1 and the winner announced at the Fayre.
“Santa will be taking time out of his very busy schedule to come and meet the children. He will be arriving at the playground at 5.45pm and will then make his way into his Grotto inside the school building.”
Entry to the Fayre is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
