ALL THREE EMERGENCY services were rushed to the A95 at Craigellachie after a lorry driver became trapped when his vehicle ended up on its side.
The accident happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon and involved Police, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance services being called to the scene and the road closed.
Reports indicate that the driver had been trapped in his cab for around an hour before being freed after fire crews broke through the windscreen. During the rescue the road was closed with police last reporting that it will remain so until the wreckage is cleared.
It is understood that the driver did not suffer any serious injuries, with a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirming that his vehicle had come to a rest on its side.
Fire crews gained access and released the driver at 2.27pm, a spokesman confirmed.
