ARTS AND CRAFTS are on the menu from this weekend at Moray’s main library as it hosts works by Isla – a group that started life as an adult education project.

The work of 12 artists will be shown in the exhibition being held in the Gallery at Elgin Library, which will run from January 27 through until February 9.

Exhibits are on display free of charge to the public during normal library opening hours – so visitors to the Library are strongly encouraged to drop in and have a look around.

Isla Arts and Crafts began their adult education classes over 10 year ago, and has now evolved into a self-directed group of creative people.

They come from a variety of backgrounds from ‘hobby’ artists to those who obtained a formal art education.
