Outfit Moray calls for charity fundraising abseilers

Local charity Outfit Moray is calling for charity fundraisers to join their summer fundraising abseil in Lossiemouth.

Outfit Moray’s Community and Corporate fundraiser Karen Cox issued the call, saying: “Our summer fundraising abseil is back! You and your supporters can descend from the roof of one of Lossiemouth’s most iconic buildings, home to Forty Four, to raise funds for your charity!

“We know just how hard fundraising can be for small clubs and charities, and finding affordable, local challenges can be even harder, so we want to beat last year’s £4,000 total raised for local good causes.”

The abseil will take place on Saturday 29 June at Forty Four in Lossiemouth from 10am to 4pm. Charity places can be booked for just £18 per person.  Bookings can be done through the charity’s website at https://outfitmoray.com/event/abseil-44/ and timing slots will be allocated nearer the time, once the organisers have a clearer picture of how many people are taking part.

“There is no limit on the number of spaces you can book”, adds Karen, “and anyone aged 8-108 can take part with no previous experience needed!

“Everyone taking part to raise funds for you will be grouped together so friends and family can be there to cheer you all on. We are also delighted to say that all abseilers will be given a voucher for a free hot or cold drink, thanks to the Upstairs @ Forty Four café.”
