Communities are to be briefed on changes to the way sport, leisure and recreational facilities are being provided by Moray Council.
The local authority has been conducting a review of facilities since October last year and as a result Councillors approved a set of proposals last month.
Now the community support unit has been directed to organise a series of community briefing sessions throughout the region in September.
A spokesman for the local authority has also said that other mechanisms are in place for members of the public to contribute to future plans for use of the facilities.
That is being conducted through an online survey which has now gone live at www.moray.gov.uk/futureleisure with hard copies being made available on request to the business support unit on 01343 563395. Comments and inquiries can also be made by email to futureleisure@moray.gov.uk.
